Have you got what it takes to join an established family run business in International Haulage/ Storage and distribution company based in Huthwaite with over 200 vehicles that deliver and collect UK nationwide.
The successful Air & Sea Freight Forwarder will be working on their own initiative and will be able to build on relationships with existing clients and identify new opportunities to drive the business forward.
Responsibilities:
-Respond to quote requests and bookings from customers
-Liaise with shipper, consignee or nominated contractors to ensure all transportation details are correct.
-Handle customs entries and arrange billings for Vat/Duty.
-Organise transport through third party transport means.
-Ability to calculate taxes/ duty via import air and sea freight.
-Excellent customer service
-Experience with documentation ie. certificate of origin/ letter of credit etc.
-An ability to be proactive, committed and enthusiastic.
