Account Executive

Key Responsibilities

Working in a busy packaging team of eight people, this office-based role is a mixture of sales, account management and purchasing.

  • Processing sales orders received via email or telephone and keeping customers informed of delivery dates.
  • Raising purchase orders to suppliers for any non-stock bespoke stock items.
  • Negotiating with suppliers and secure the best possible prices and lead times for customers.
  • Dealing with new sales enquiries and providing quotations via a CRM system.
  • Proactive outbound telephone calls to existing, inactive and prospective customers

Experience

  • A confident telephone manner, organised nature and ability to develop relationships with customers is very important.
  • Competent IT skills are essential, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Experience using Sage Accounts is preferred but not essential.
  • Training will be provided in all aspects of the role, including products, systems and software.

Please note, a £5k per annum quarterly bonus can be achieved, this is not an opportunity to be missed.
