Access Manager

As the current provider of Nottinghamshire County’s Integrated Wellbeing Service, Your Health Your Way, my client now has the opportunity to improve the way emotional wellbeing services are delivered and accessed by Children and Young People across Nottinghamshire County and Nottingham City. This role offers the right person the opportunity to develop and lead emotional wellbeing single point of access, shaping, driving and delivering the change. You will be the Single Point of Access (SPOA) Manager and provide clinical and operational leadership of the triage system within the Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing Service.

An experienced mental health practitioner used to a fast-paced environment (this is advantageous but not essential.)

• Experienced in working with children and young people across mental health settings

• Experienced in developing and producing standard operating procedures and embedding these in daily operations

• Experienced in triaging service users as part of a single point of access

• Positive and proactive leader with the ability to motivate, engage and support staff to achieve the highest standards and outcomes

• Adept in communication and confident communicating with patients and health professionals

• Open and motivated by new ideas and perspectives

• A strategic thinker able to foresee and take action to deal with problems and opportunities

You will be a motivated, passionate, organised and proactive leader, with experience in mental health. You will take a strength- based approach, be a solution-based practitioner and be constantly looking to innovate. The role will require dynamic strategic leadership which embraces the Emotional Wellbeing Early Support Service. This is a demanding job, but you will not be on your own. A highly experienced and friendly multi-disciplinary team of Health and Social Care professionals, Business Intelligence, Service Development, Governance, Finance and Business Development are there to support. Additionally, existing experienced delivery teams will be available to support you to drive the Service forward.
