Following the recent Government announcement to roll out lateral flow testing due to the new strain of COVID-19, causing Tier 4 lockdowns, our customer will require extra measures in place, therefore we are recruiting for Testing Assistants/ Covid-19 Marshalls to help our customer fulfil their testing needs.
You'll play an important part in ensuring COVID-19 safety measures are adhered whilst ensuring people feel safe working at this global food manufacturer.
- You will be carrying out routine preventative COVID-19 testing daily to staff, visitors and contractors.
- You will assist in providing medical swabs for COVID-19 testing for individuals or assisting/directing them to carry-out self-tests. Collecting completed swabs and processing them, ensuring they are ready for collection. Proactively updating all documentation, as required.
- You will also be part of the Covid-19 Marshalls and will patrol areas ensuring social distancing in all key areas. & will report any compliance issues and be part of regular team meetings.
There are multiple positions available on a fixed term 3-month contract, however, there is a possibility of continuous work thereafter in different departments.
You will work Monday to Friday rotating weekly between 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 or a set night shift from 22:00-06:00. An element of flexibility is required to cover alternative shifts as needed.
