We are recruiting a Team Leader for a leading organic vegetable business.
You will be managing and leading a team, communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines. You should be a good motivator of people, someone who leads by example to get the best from the team. From time to time you will have to deal with performance and capability issues, sometimes having tough conversations with members of your team.
You’ll have an eye for detail, which will play a huge part in the production of safe, high quality products. You’ll be meticulous in your approach to work, ensuring product specifications are met, with minimal waste. You’ll also be motivated by targets, striving to ensure you meet production plans and KPIs.
You will need previous experience within the food industry as well as experience of successfully leading teams.
We’re recruiting for both day and night shifts. Days operate a rotating shift pattern, three days one week and four the next, 06:00-18:00, including weekends. Night shift is Monday to Friday 18:00-02:30, with occasional weekend work.
