We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Executive to be part of a small team which is based in Newark.
Primary Skills and Responsibilities:
- Follow up enquiries and ensure that all information is recorded correctly, create proposals and negotiate with clients to convert to business.
- Build and maintain positive and productive relationships externally with clients
- Ensure data is captured, recorded and collated accurately on the in-house system.
- Attend and contribute to sales meetings.
- Provide accurate Management Information.
- Provide prompt accurate contracts.
- Produce full event manifests for small conferences and meeting bookings ensuring that all information is accurate and complete.
- Develop and identify new clients and opportunities.
- Send client feedback forms and collate and action any relevant points.
- Meet and exceed targets for repeat business and new sales bookings.
- Conduct site tours for potential clients.
- Administrate client information and any website amendments on the website.
- Attend shows or networking events where required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to be self-motivated and organised.
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably in a sales executive role/ events or hotel industry.
- Proven track record in sales both face to face and over the phone.
- Proven client retention and new client development skills.
- Be a strong relationship builder.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and process orientation skills.
- Have strong communication and listening skills.
- Understanding of events and conferences preferred.
- Be flexible and adaptive in a rapidly changing environment.
- Have a keen eye for detail.
