Are you looking to join one of the largest privately-owned Diesel Engineering Service organisations in the UK. Founded over 70 years ago, they have been a strong market leader and are continually expanding. The role they are currently recruiting for is a Sales Administrator. 

To be a successful Sales Administrator, you will work effectively in the Parts team to provide quotations against customer requests, follow up the conversion quotes to sales which would contribute to the overall team sale's target. You will also provide administration support to the e-commerce platforms, for example, eBay etc. 

Key Duties and responsibilities:

Sales Administration:

  • Respond to customer requests, providing sales quotations
  • Follow up and conversion of estimates via phone calls and emails
  • Rapid order entry on active sales demand
  • Timely response to customer enquiries
  • Database updates with customer information changes
  • Key dispatch requirements captured and made clear on sales orders
  • Report on and monitoring sales levels & conversion rates

Teamwork

  • Key internal stakeholder engagement to ensure customer orders are satisfied in line with their expectations
  • Supporting the technical parts sales team by providing order entry services against their active quotations
  • Liaise with finance to ensure customer orders are released promptly where payments are received

e-Commerce: Providing support and cover to the e-commerce co-ordinator

  • Maintenance of stock availability on all e-commerce platforms where required
  • Entry of orders on to the ERP system from the e-commerce platforms such as 'eBay and Webshop'
  • Key dispatch requirements captured and made clear on sales orders
  • Timely response to customer enquiries
