Stock Office Receipt & Despatch Clerk

We have an exciting permanent position available for a Stock Office Receipt & Despatch clerk to join a fantastic company based on the outskirts of Grantham.

Due to the location own transport is essential.

The working hours for this role rotate and are as follows: Monday to Friday 06.00 -14.00 rotating to 14:00-22:00 at an hourly pay rate of £11.15. The following week with a 6-hour Saturday morning shift paid at an overtime rate of £16.72. If you are required to stay longer than 6 hours on Saturday, the rate then increases to £22.30.

The ideal candidate must be flexible with working overtime and weekend work as well.

Job duties and requirements:
• Processing all stock receipts onto & all despatches off bespoke Warehouse Management IT system
• Updating vehicle movement booking diary system & working closely with Operations & Customer support staff.
• The position involves communicating directly with visiting lorry drivers whilst also on occasion hauliers & customers.
• The successful candidate must have good written & basic PC skills along with excellent communication skills.
• Must be capable of following set-in-stone processes and be capable of sound decision-making when things don't go according to plan.
• Must be reliable & highly self-motivated working both as part of a team and individually


Immediate start is available for this role and training is provided onsite however experience in a similar role in a manufacturing/distribution environment is highly desirable.
