This individual would be a key member of the Quality department, responsibilities would include:
- Carrying out the internal audit schedule
- Logging and distributing internal nonconformities and quality alerts, chasing and recording the follow up from the relevant departments.
- Create and maintain spec sheets across all products
- Be responsible for maintaining calibration records
- Ensuring all documents come under document control and have the appropriate references
- Following through and ensuring the completion of the new product process
- Maintaining operating procedures and work instructions, alongside relevant departments and ensuring all are document controlled.
- Supplier complaints, including the defective materials return notes
- As a shared responsibility, managing retains and approving ECOs and spec sheets. Carry out crimp checks and the leak detector check.
- Implement continuous improvement by looking for ways to improve processes and efficiencies in both your work and business processes.
This role will involve travel between 4 different sites as and when required in order to support operations with any quality complaints or queries.
Desirable qualities:
- 3 years’ experience in quality
- Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Be easily adaptable and has a flexible attitude to reflect changing priorities and business needs.
- Holds a Full, clean driving licence.
