We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor who will be required to assist with setting up a new division of an established local firm. This is a hands on position and would suit someone who has previous experience in joinery.
You will be responsible for around 3-5 production staff and supervising them on a day to day basis to ensure deadlines are met. We would ideally like to hear from you if you have worked as a Bench Joiner in the past, as you will be working in a similar environment. The job will involve using power tools and woodworking machinery. You must have experience in reading drawings and can follow written instruction. Preparing the products for despatch, adhering to Health and Safety policies and completing paperwork also form part of this role. Excellent communication skills are key for this, as you will be liaising with other departments to arrange raw materials for production.
Working hours Monday to Friday 07.00 - 15.30
