We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing team in Grantham.
This is a hands-on role within a production environment, working with timber and wood-based materials.
The position involves operating machinery, using handheld tools, and undertaking regular heavy lifting as part of the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating production machinery safely and efficiently
- Using handheld tools and equipment to assemble and manufacture products
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing timber and wood materials
- Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling duties
- Performing quality checks on finished products
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience using saws, power tools, or handheld tools is beneficial
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work and heavy lifting
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment would be advantageous
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
