We are looking for a permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) procurement Officer to assist throughout the organisation by providing advice, assistance, management and monitoring of all procurement activity. The work is plentiful and varied, including capital works and repairs, housing, and corporate services.
We are looking for someone who has a background within procurement in the public sector. For this role, you must have membership or working towards membership of chartered institute of procurement and supply (CIPS Level 4). As well as this, you will need to be confident in dealing with sensitive information, using Microsoft Office and writing reports to a high standard.
Your main role will be to provide advice and guidance on a wide range of procurement issues to colleagues in line with procurement laws, contract procedure rules and associated guidance. You will also be required to prepare contract documents, audit the electronic procurement records and assist in arranging and delivering procurement training.
