Full time and Permanent Opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator.
Peterborough location
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm
Job Purpose -
To produce payroll for the company, both weekly and monthly, by meeting weekly and monthly deadlines.
To be an administrative support to the HR team, and manage the files, paper and electronic including the archive.
Key Responsibilities -
- Process payroll on both a weekly and monthly basis
- Work with Mitrefinch to clear amendments
- Work with Sage to process both payroll, monthly and weekly
- Record Absences on Mitrefinch and Sage
- Manage all Maternity, Paternity and sickness calculations
- Action and Process all change forms in a timely manner
- Complete end of year process on payroll
- Produce yearly P60’s and P11D processes
- Action and process any attachment of earnings
- Process FPS & EPS when required
- Input starters for payroll purposes correctly
- Process leavers when instructed of leaver
- Pension Processing uploaded to portal and arrange payment
- Run all relevant reports as necessary
- Office Administration duties
- Manage the filing & archiving being compliant with GDPR
- Complete on & off boarding process for employees
- Support with Occupational health including annual health screening
- Keeping the occupational health database up to date
Qualifications & Skills Needed
- Previous payroll experience (essential)
- Previous Sage experience (desirable)
- Previous Mitrefinch/TA software (desirable)
- Organisational skills (essential)
- Good team worker
- Excellent communication skills
- Approachable and adaptable to an HR environment
