We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our client based 10 minutes from Grantham.
You will be assisting the main engineer with the current workload. Your main duties will include:
- Servicing and repairs to plant machinery, heavy industry vehicles and equipment & agricultural machinery
- Fault finding on the above
- Working on both customers and company machinery
- Recording relevant data, working to company procedures
The ideal candidate will need a strong mechanical background, vast mechanical, hydraulic and electrical knowledge and fault diagnosis experience.
The ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team will also be required.
The hours of work are 7am-5pm Monday to Friday.
This is a permanent role offering between £28,000-£35,000 per annum with the client looking to start someone as soon as possible.
