Mechanical Fitter
Our globally successful client is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join their business in Nottingham.
Hours of work are –
7.30am – 4.30pm Mon – Thurs
1.30pm finish on a Friday!
Rate of pay is £10.55ph.
This role includes –
- Providing Mechanical Maintenance Support as and when required
- Fault-finding and diagnostics of mechanical equipment
- Installation of systems and mechanical equipment
- Construction of mechanical and equipment to concise engineering drawings and production timescales
- Reporting directly to the First line Manager
Skills and Qualifications -
- Mechanically Biased Engineering background
- Mechanical related qualifications (HNC or above)
- Experience of Lean/Process Improvement methodologies
- Fault-finding and fault elimination experience
- Manufacturing industry experience - FMCG / Food / Automotive / Plastics / Packaging / Heavy Industrial
- Ability to work within a team or on your own.
- Self-motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks
