With this in mind you will be joining a healthcare business in Derby City Centre. You will be part of the IT and Telecoms team and focus on ensuring the delivery of high performing, reliable, responsive and resilient IT and Telephony services at all operational sites throughout the East Midlands.

You will provide IT service operation activities across all areas of the IT and Telecoms systems. Working as part of a shift rota providing on site IT services 7 days a week including bank holidays and as part of an on call rota for IT and Telecom support.
The role will primarily focus on delivering 2nd level technical support and operational maintenance across all technologies and working closely with their 3rd party partners to resolve incidents and problems. Covering of the first line support duties will also be undertaken when there are no other IT staff available.
You will be required to work as part of a team or act alone in a technical environment without direct supervision and guidance but must be willing to seek advice and guidance as necessary.
You may have to travel between sites throughout the East Midlands which may result in you working for a prolonged period of time from some of the other sites.
If you can deal with queries for Microsoft windows operating system, research, find the root cause and solve problems independently when necessary this could be the role for you!
You will be part of a shift rota providing on site cover Monday to Sunday between 07:00am - 19:00 including bank holidays, or as agreed from time to time.
Working on a variety of projects, you will not be bored!
This is a permanent role and we are offering a salary of £27400 per annum which includes on call after 4 weeks. Your usual hours will be 37.5 hours a week. After successfully passing your 6month probation you will be entitled to; private healthcare, free parking, 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays. On top of this you will be eligible for the company pension from day one.
If you are educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an IT related subject and have technical experience equivalent to MCSE/MCSA in Server Support. Then we want to hear from you!
