As an international account manager, you will be in charge of maintaining long-term partnerships within the business. However, you should also have the ability and skillset to build new relationships with clients. In addition to this, your role will also entail:
- Attending international trade shows 2-3 times a year in order to grow current customer relationships and build new ones.
- Attending distributor in-house shows 2-3 times a year to grow key accounts and provide product knowledge to your distributor’s sales staff and customers
- Delivering product training to your accounts and their customers sales teams, in person and virtually (This would involve travel to different locations across the USA every now and again throughout different states)
- Actively sourcing and developing relationships with new customers
- Quality checking the order process daily, whilst supporting the administration team in ensuring orders are processed efficiently, whilst proactively trouble shooting any concerns /errors
- Working closely with our fulfilment centre on the order process, highlighting any concerns and supporting the receipt and dispatch of product as required.
- Working closely with the purchasing team on stock levels to ensure customer satisfaction and required lines are consistently stocked, proactively highlighting any stock discrepancies or concerns.
- Working closely with the design and marketing team on new product launches, to ensure we gain maximum exposure
You will be based at the Newark office along with trips to the United States when needed.
