Day to day
- Maintain control throughout the entire low risk workforce, this can be achieved by utilising the chain of command effectively and working closely with the team leaders and the management team.
- You will be responsible for all team members working in the low-risk area.
- You are responsible for maintaining standards of quality, hygiene, and safety throughout the low-risk area.
- You will manage all stock coming in and out, organize stock and pick and pack orders
- You are responsible for motivating and developing your team, working towards targets for quality, wages, waste, and consumption
Skills
- Co-operates and works well with others in pursuit of team goals.
- Absorbs instructions quickly and acts on them effectively.
- Works effectively when under pressure and in pressurised environments.
- Be a good communicator and effective delegator.
Preferred
- Must have knowledge of all tasks performed throughout Goods in and Despatch within the low-risk area.
- Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Food manufacturing experience
- Food hygiene / HACCP qualification would be desirable
- Workplace Health & Safety regulations
- Forklift license
