We are currently recruiting for a Farm Operative to work for our client based in Ashbourne on a Temporary to Permanent contract.
- You will work 40 hours per week
- 5 days from 7 with a 6th day when required
- Working week Sunday to Saturday (weekend work is required)
Duties will include:
- Mobile position, a van will be provided
- Working at various locations within the Broiler Farming, based around Ashbourne
- Assisting with the placement of day old chicks
- Ensuring quality, biosecurity and welfare standards are adhered to at all times.
- Distribute ‘Top Up’ Bales when required to assist in bird welfare
- Flush out drinker lines prior to Chicks arriving on farm to prevent a build-up of bacteria
- And any other duties as required by the Fam Manager
Person Specifications:
- Poultry Farm experience essential
- Driving licence essential due to driving the company van
- Reliable
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
