Electronics Engineer
Is Electronic engineering your thing? Do you want the opportunity to supervise a team of junior engineers? Work with like-minded people, meeting your customers face to face and work with an exciting and bespoke product range? You will be based in Newark, working 8.30am-5pm, with a salary of £35,000 to £40,000. Did I mention you might get a few trips to Belgium thrown in too?
Day to day you will support your team whilst working closely with production Engineers, solving any production problems. You will manage design work and make sure deadlines are hit. Not just that, you will be involved with product development, designing new systems and circuits, producing PCB designs to IPC standards. As well as helping with quotes and technical problems, you will need to pop out of the office to meet Sub-contractors.
It’s a small but busy team and you will need to show initiative and be flexible in your working style. Now the technical bit. It’s essential you have a degree in Electronic Engineering, a few years experience in electro-mechanical systems, schematic capture and PCB CAD.
