We are recruiting for Electrical Engineers to form part of the engineering team with the responsibility for completing a variety of planned and reactive maintenance within the new facility. Must be 17th / 18th Edition qualified and have proven experience with industrial electrical installation and a track record of lone working and fault finding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to reactive breakdown
- Repairing, testing and maintaining waste recycling equipment such as conveyors, shredders, balers, optical sorters etc.
- Installing new equipment
- Evaluating and resolving electrical and mechanical problems
- Maintain lighting systems to comply with Health and Safety
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in the waste / recycling industry
- Experience of working within a heavy industrial / automated environment
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Qualified to a City & Guild or NVQ level 2 or equivalent within an Electrical Engineering / Technician discipline
- Experience of fault finding and use of programmable logic control
- Confident user of Microsoft Office, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
