A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the Newark area for a Business Development Manager to join a multi award winning innovative and forward thinking company.

Within this role, you really do have the opportunity to make a 'big impact' within the team and business. Previous or current experience working within business development is essential within this position. It is vital that you can not only acknowledge the importance of selling and 'winning business', but you must also be able to participate and support the senior leadership team in further developing and expanding the commercial division. 

What this role will include:

  • Develop and establish your sales pipeline with customers from start to finish
  • To plan and target the addition of new customers/clients
  • Manage your pipeline and take control, recording any progress and keeping details up to date
  • Be responsible for the preparation and completion of tenders
  • Secure strategic partnerships with SMEs through to large organisations
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process
  • Work with the wider teams to iterate propositions and materials for the B2B market
  • Create strong relationships both internally within departments and externally with our customers both on a consumer and business level
  • Provide insight into market trends, ensuring the company are always one step ahead of the market and competitors

The ideal candidate will have skills as follows:

  • Clear understanding of the commercial factors 
  • A proven ability to coordinate and deliver market leading tender responses
  • An established history of securing business from large companies/businesses
  • Proven track record of delivering an excellent customer experience
  • Excellent listening skills and great communication
  • A ruthless focus on the customer with a genuine passion for going above and beyond
  • A driven and self-motivated mentality
  • An entrepreneurial mind-set being whilst being able to adjust to change 
  • The ability to work is a fast paced and busy environment. 

Your days of work will be Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Salary: £30k-£40k per annum + bonus
