We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an Assistant Buyer to join one of our established energy clients based near Mansfield.
As an Assistant Buyer, you will raise purchase orders, and manage stock levels to ensure correct materials are available for each job. You will manage invoices and create purchase reports, alongside assisting with supplier negotiations. You will also assist with implementing new processes and developing existing processes, in order to enhance productivity.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of progress within buying and procurement and have the drive to develop within the procurement environment. You will have excellent administration skills, and experience with SAP would be beneficial.
This role is an exciting opportunity for any junior/assistant buyer, initially on a fixed term basis but with the strong possibility of going permanent. You will be provided with a competitive salary and an excellent working environment.
