Our Client is a world leader in the retail industry and they are now looking for a strong Administrator to join their expanding and friendly team. This is a 12 months fixed term contract.

You’ll be working 39 hours across 5 days, Monday to Friday with a salary paying £18.000 to £18.500 per annum dependant on experience

Job Role: Administrator

What you will do?

Provide an administration service to the Logistics and Transport team.  You will be a key member of the Logistics Commercial team covering all administration tasks reporting to the Transport FLM.

Here are just some of the things you’ll be involved in working as an Administrator:

  • Developing and updating trackers using reports run from Maersk system and sent from origin.
  • Checking invoices (using SAP) against tenders to ensure that we have been billed correctly. Highlighting and escalating discrepancies.
  • Checking online statement and ensuring all invoices are received from accounts to be processed.
  • Compiling of reports to ensure accuracy and sending this detail out within the teams to the wider business
  • General administration tasks within the team, and possible attendance at meetings on ad hoc basis. 

What we need from you to become a successful administrator

  • Proven Administration experience
  • Competent skills in MS Office 365 - particularly Excel, Word and Email and any experience of using a Warehouse Management System, will be beneficial but is not essential
  • Experience/Understanding of SAP (Finance System)
  • Works well in a team
  • Good communication skills, be able to plan around competing deadlines.
