My client is an established retail brand based in Worksop who is now looking for an exciting, vibrant and motivated individual to join their busy team.

I have a 12 week (3 Months) Temporary to Permanent position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, £9.50 per hour.

Activities of an Administrator in this role include:

  • Scope, write and publish internal communications such as emails and newsletters to team members across Wilko using our communications platforms (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Poppullo)
  • Keep content on our internal communications channels (e.g. SOF Portal, intranet home page) up to date and functionality working correctly
  • Provide ad hoc support to the internal communications team for communication projects, campaigns and events (e.g. information gathering, picture sourcing, organising meetings, booking rooms, processing POs and invoices)
  • Manage the internal communications inbox, action and respond to queries promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring communications team records and processes are up to date.
  • General Administrative Duties

Skills/Experience

  • Excellent grammar and written skills
  • Self-starter with bags of initiative, natural problem solver
  • Strong attention to detail, great at proof-reading and fact checking
  • Highly organised and structured approach to working
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast moving and creative environment
  • Self-starter with bags of initiative, natural problem solver
  • Discretion – will have access to confidential information and senior leaders
  • Confident working with variety of people – all levels
  • Highly proficient with all MS Office tools – mostly Word and PowerPoint, occasionally Excel
  • Confident learning new software – e.g. will train on our systems such as Poppullo
  • Would be great if could use InDesign, but not essential
  • Flexible outlook – variety of work, hours of work (some evenings, weekends unlikely)
  • General interest in photography, videography, creating and publishing content would be a bonus
